Abstract
AbstractFollowing the suggestions in Names (September, 1992) and elsewhere, this article shows what can be done with the systematic study of a county's post offices. Daviess County's 71 post offices are located, with brief histories and descriptions of the communities they serve, along with the derivations of all known names.
